INFORMATION
Centre Pointe Learning, Inc. was established
as a privately held corporation in the state of Ohio in
January of 2000. The legal address for the company is
6749 Gilmore Road, Suite B, Fairfield Township, OH 45011.
The initial focus/mission for the company is to actively
participate in the science and Technology Education curriculum
arena, by developing and publishing curriculum for the
middle and secondary school markets. The company’s
intent is to provide a viable option to the currently
available materials, by paying very close attention to
the national standards, current appropriate assessment
strategies, and effective pedagogical structure. |
The company believes their role is not only to provide
exemplary product, but consistent professional customer
service, with a personal touch.

The founding of Centre Pointe Learning, Inc. was the logical
next step for the President and Chief Executive
Officer, Dr.
Thomas A. Emrick. Dr. Emrick has 15 years
of public education classroom and administrative experience.
In addition, more than another 15 + years in the textbook
publishing sector. His education includes an earned doctorate
from Loyola University, Chicago.

The Director of Product Development,
Ms. Karen
Roberts, also comes from an education background,
as an English Teacher. Ms. Roberts has 20 years of school
publishing experience. She was responsible for publishing
in a variety of content areas, the last eleven years with
Dr. Emrick. |
Centre Pointe’s Sales Manager is
Mr. Steve
Pater. Mr. Pater has been with Centre Pointe
since its’ inception and has more than a decade
of sales experience. |
